It’s still working in W7, but it refuses to play ball in Creator. I have the same question This exposes an additional bug in tcpip. Unfortunately the Broadcom x has a bug where it returns incorrect responses when Windows asks it about support for the hardware optimizations. The first time it didn’t work, I had to cycle, reboot, disable, reboot and enable again. Can I get a driver for this?
Suffice to say that performing an upgrade to Creators Update automatically embed that update and hence you end with a fixed, working Windows. The creators update introduced some new features that take advantage of some Network Card hardware optimizations that are available on newer models.

I disabled the controller to contrller wifi work long ago when I installed Creators Upgrade, as many other people did. Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. But starting with the creators update the optimizations are now available on client versions.
If it so happens, I am sure Travis will make it known at the above quoted thread, probably with detailed instructions to be able to 4440x the update without problem; given the agenda through 5 months until December 21stI am not sure it will happen.
Travis did a remarkable job pushing the fix internally, and it has been integrated into KB which is cumulative update for Windows 10 Creators Update dated August 2nd.

But we can fix the bug tcpip. I have the same question That was a workaround, my Ethernet wasn’t working but wifi was. You will encounter conrroller full details, particularly how to proceed depending of your particular case, in contgoller reference thread.
I have an old Dell E, which has worked well for many years. Don’t you need ver to install KB?

As you know it has worked faithfully all those years. Or they want to sell me something else, which doesn’t help me either. First, a brief synopsis of the technical details: It worked the second time, I have the controller enabled and everything is working now so I assume the fix worked for me. Given conttroller nature of support for the old driver we cntroller fix the Broadcom x.
All third-party sites want to diagnose it online, which is clearly not feasible. How satisfied are you with this response?
